This is mariachi music at its most sophisticated and most modernistic. It’s almost the antithesis of folklore, almost futuristic…it is state-of-the-art.

Jonathan Clark, mariachi expert and historian

Herederos features this dynamic, Chicago-based, Latin Grammy-nominated ensemble of young Mexican-American musicians, recognized as the new ambassadors of the mariachi tradition, performing a vibrant tribute to the golden age of Mexican music. Joined by multi-Grammy nominated star Lupita Infante, an advocate for women’s empowerment through her music, Mariachi Herencia de México and Infante honor the legacy they inherited with a colorful and unforgettable experience of Mexican music and culture.

The ensemble has toured throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, performing in some of the most prestigious performing arts centers across the continent, including Washington, D.C.’s The Kennedy Center and Guadalajara’s Teatro Degollado; as well as alongside major artists and some of the most respected mariachi groups from both sides of the border.
