Rabbi Sarah Marion of Congregation B’nai Israel in Bridgeport, Conn. and Reverend Vanessa Rose of First Church, Fairfield, will join together in dialogue about the history of women’s religious leadership, and the challenges and opportunities that remain for women who serve as spiritual leaders. They will explore questions such as: “Who were the first women who defied the spiritual mold? What happens when God is gendered? What would our congregations and religious institutions look like if women were better represented in leadership positions? What are we still fighting for, and why?"
