The Quick Center for the Arts serves as the center of the creative, cultural and performing arts community in Fairfield County. Each year, over 40,000 audience members attend and participate in over 400 events.

The staff of the Quick Center is eager to make sure you have the best experience possible while you are with us. Please keep the following items in mind when planning your time with us:

Concessions

The Quick Center offers an array of beverages and treats prior to our events. Come early to a show and enjoy wine, beer, soft drinks, a coffee bar, and snacks. In addition, we offer fresh baked goods prior to our The Met: Live in HD events. Concessions will be open one hour prior to events and during most intermissions. Unless otherwise indicated the night of a performance, no food or drink is allowed in the theatres or gallery.

Please note that generally our concessions area accepts cash only.

The Thomas J. Walsh Art Gallery

Located in the Quick Center, the Walsh Gallery is open to the public Monday thru Friday, 11am - 4pm, and prior to performances. Learn more here.

ATM

A Bank of America ATM is located in the Barone Campus Center located approximately one-quarter mile from the Quick Center by following the sidewalk to the back of the building.

Late seating

In fairness to patrons and performers, House Management honors artist’s instructions for appropriate seating.

Artist Bookings

Performing artists interested in performing at the Quick Center for the Arts should e-mail their information to info@quickcenter.com or please send your promotional kit to:

Assistant Director of Programming
Quick Center for the Arts, Fairfield University
1073 North Benson Rd.
Fairfield, CT 06824

Before sending any materials, artists and managers are encouraged to look at the season event listings on our website to determine if the Quick Center for the Arts actually programs the genre or style that you or your artist performs.

Promotional kits should include:

  • an artist bio
  • black and white or color photos
  • an audio cd/dvd recording
  • recent press clippings and reviews

*Please do not send videotapes.

Promotional materials will not be returned. The Quick Center receives many booking inquiries and artist's information each year. Therefore, it is not possible to return all of them. Please do not send any originals that cannot be replaced.

Videos of acts are welcome and can be featured on our site, provided you have all rights for distribution online and can provide complete, edited videos in the proper format. Preferred lengths are of no more than two to three minutes and the video should be in Quicktime format, .mov or .mp4. HD or standard video is acceptable; please contact our Web Communications department at webmaster@fairfield.edu for further specifications and delivery methods.

The booking process includes the review of hundreds of artists each year. However, only a select few will actually be engaged for the Center's season. Even when the Center is interested in an artist, it may take years for the booking to be the correct choice for that particular upcoming season. Please understand that we may not be able to respond to your mailing or inquiry.
