“Let the Wild Rumpus begin!”
Join Max as he sets sail to the land of the Wild Things. In this family-fun, interactive performance the audience helps transform Max’s bedroom into a forest and becomes Wild Things themselves. Let your imagination run free in this award-winning, internationally acclaimed production of Where the Wild Things Are, adapted from Maurice Sendak’s beloved classic.
More about this unique performance:
There are two places for the audience to sit for Where the Wild Things Are, a participatory area and a regular seating area. The participatory seating area is on the floor on “island mats” on three sides of the set and is recommended for children.
The regular seating area is along the back wall. The audience watches the performance from this area with less direct involvement in the participation of the play. This area is recommended for adults or for older/younger siblings not wishing to participate for any reason in the creative play guided by the artists on stage.
