The Quick Center for the Arts is excited to announce that Connecting with Balance is coming to the Quick. Led by Pilobolus dancers, Connecting with Balance is based on a half century of techniques that playfully increase your body’s capacity for mobility, stability, and expression while improving your wellbeing.

The Quick Center for the Arts has long been a partner with acclaimed modern dance company, Pilobolus, over our 34-year history. In the last decade that partnership has grown as the company expands their offerings and our organizations aspire to find new ways to serve our Connecticut community.

Through Connecting with Balance, you will:

  • Improve your balance to improve independence and quality of life.
  • Use Connecting with Balance to recover from injuries.
  • Reconnect with your body through movement and reawaken your senses.
  • Enjoy movement surrounded by the beauty of art in the Fairfield University Art Museum: Walsh Gallery.

This six-week session will run from April 22 – May 27 on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. No previous dance experience is required and movement can be done standing or seated. Registration for the six-week session is $50. Registration is first-come, first-serve.
