Did You Know That Ticket Sales Only Make Up About Half Of Most Theatres’ Operating Income?

The Quick Center relies on the generous philanthropic support of patrons like you to provide robust, engaging performances and community programming.

There are many effective ways to offer your charitable support to the Quick:

  • online, by phone, or by mail
  • gifts of cash, stock, property, or in-kind gifts
  • a corporate matching gift
  • a planned gift of a bequest, life insurance, trust, or annuity

Make a gift for general support or designate it to one of the below campaigns.

Every day, we strive to inspire intellectual curiosity, broaden perspectives, and transform the way we see the world and how we interact with one another.

In fiscal year 2019:

  • 25,828 tickets sold
  • 758 free tickets gifted to students in K-12 schools
  • 398 distinct zip codes for audience members
  • 87 summer camp scholarships
  • 50 performances and lectures

From programs for under-resourced schools in Bridgeport, to college students, to members of our senior community, the Quick provides access to the highest caliber of artist on the stage and behind the scenes.

Your gift in any amount makes an important difference at the Quick. Thank you.

Take a Seat

We offer you a special opportunity to leave your mark at the Quick and “take a seat” in our theatre. With your charitable contribution of $500 or more, you can designate a seat in honor or in memory of a friend or family member. To recognize your gift, we'll place a plaque on one of our theatre seats and send a card to the person you're honoring or family of the person you are remembering.

Education and Outreach Fund

The Quick Center Arts Education and Outreach Fund was established in 2015 to ensure support for meaningful educational programming to serve the broader community. The fund supports:

  • Our School Matinee Series, offering live theatre experiences to grades pre-k through 12, with free tickets for students in underserved communities
  • Transportation programs providing theatre access for youth and families from neighboring communities and schools
  • Artist-in-residence programs to bring teaching artists to lead masterclasses and workshops with area schools and community groups
  • Summer camp scholarships for underserved youth to experience hands-on creativity and arts learning
  • Our Quick Center Arts Incubator Program which provides high caliber arts education programming while offering performing artists the time and space to create work
