COVID-19 Protocols and Guidelines

  • Negative Test Upon Arrival: All Fairfield University campers and staff members who are not fully vaccinated must submit a negative Covid-19 PCR or antigen test result within 72-hours before the first day of camp.
    • It is not a requirement for staff members or campers to be vaccinated, although we do highly encourage it if eligible.
    • If a camper or staff member is fully vaccinated (defined as at least two weeks after the last dose of the Covid-19 vaccine series), then they are exempt from the 72-hour testing requirement.
    • Proof of fully vaccinated status or a negative test result must be submitted when dropping off on the morning of the first day of camp. Failure to do so will result in your camper not being able to participate.
  • Health/Symptom Monitoring: Parents/guardians of campers will need to complete a Youth Camp Health Monitoring for Covid-19 Form on the first day of camp.
  • Masks Required: Masks will be required for all campers, staff, and audience members for the entirety of each week.
  • Drop-Off: All campers will be received via drop-off in front of the Quick Center lobby. There will be stations for registration and collection of COVID TESTS and HEALTH MONITORING FORMS. Please note these are one-off forms only required on the first day of each camp. If you are doing multiple camps you will need to present these on each Monday of the start of camp. Once checked in, campers will enter the building for the start of camp.
  • Pick-Up: All campers will be picked up in front of the Quick Center at the end of each camp session.
  • Take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of the MCT Tour Actor/Directors and local cast.
  • Limit cast size as dictated by State/County/City Phases along with the local health department and CDC guidelines.
  • Limit the number of scripts that are distributed and utilize a digital option where possible. Any that are distributed will be disposable.
  • Provide make-up plots if individuals want to apply their own. No stage make-up will be used.
  • Launder all costume pieces prior to arrival and prior to departure from community. No dry-cleaned items will be utilized.
  • Disinfect all props after every use.
  • Provide a detailed plan for audition, rehearsals, and performance prior to the week in concert with Presenter within the guidelines set forth by State/County/City Phases along with the local health department and CDC guidelines.
  • Provide a high-quality experience for all involved.
