Holden Triplett is a former FBI special agent and national security official who has spent his career studying and confronting the threat activities of major authoritarian states. He previously served as director for counterintelligence at the National Security Council and as the FBI faculty chair at the National Intelligence University. During his nearly 15-year career with the FBI, he was posted to New York, Moscow, and Beijing. He is the co-founder of Trenchcoat Advisors, a national security consultancy focused on nation-state, insider, and corporate espionage threats. Holden teaches on Chinese intelligence and security at Georgetown University and on private sector intelligence at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.
