Stamford’s Orchestra Lumos, led by music director Michael Stern, returns to the Quick Center for their March Sunday encore performance as part of their ECHOES RESOUNDING series.

Their program is titled Mozart and Beethoven: Echoes in Motion, and features works either by or inspired by Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart. The performance will include the Bach Musical Offering: Ricercare; Mozart Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola, and Orchestra in E-flat, K. 364;  Beethoven Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92.; and a composition by contemporary composer Nicky Sohn, Moon Bunny (2020), a piece inspired by the ideas of Bach's Musical Offering that weaves Bach and the Korean folk songs of her childhood.
